What is Emotional Intelligence?
According to Goleman “emotional Intelligence is the
capacity for recgonizing our own feelings and those of ourselves, and for
managing emotions effectively in ourselves and in others.” Daniel Goleman is
the autor of Working with Emotional Intelligence.
This model comprises 20 competencies organized intelligence
in four clusters:
Self-Awareness
Emotional Self-awareness -- recognizing our emotions and their
effects
Accurate Self-Assessment -- knowing one's strengths and limits
Self-Confidence -- a strong sense of one's self worth and limits
